Description
The MIRA Safety CM-7M military gas mask is a full-face respirator providing ultimate Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) threat protection. Meeting EN 136 (Class III) and EN 148-1 standards, this military-grade mask provides excellent protection against all known chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial chemicals in the form of gases, vapors, and aerosols. The CM-7M is the best mask option for use with shoulder mounted firearms requiring optics to be held close to the eyes. This also provides for better depth perception when compared to a single panoramic faceplate. For a mask option with a greater peripheral vision, consider the CM-6M Tactical Gas Mask instead. This mask is compatible with NATO-standard 40mm filters (not included) that utilize Rd 40 x 1/7″ threads.
The CM-7M Military Mask is designed for military, rescue operation, HAZMAT, and civilian emergency use. It currently serves as the military issue full-face respirator for the Czech Republic and Latvia. NATO-standard filters can be mounted on either the left or right side (or both) depending on preference to keep them out of the way of shoulder mounted firearms. The mask is designed for long-term use in any weather condition and is adjusted by a 5-point rubber textile head harness. The mask includes a drinking system with a canteen, a PET speech diaphragm, and visors made of silicate glass. It’s compatible with helmets and breathing apparatuses and has a sweat drainage through the exhalation chamber. The mask is available in 3 sizes (see below) and has a storage and service life of 20 years if stored properly. MIRA Safety warranties the product for 1 year after manufacturing.

Size 2 (medium) fits 95% of the population. If you’re an average size person, it’s recommended that you choose a size 2. For those who weigh 130 lbs or less, with thin faces, a size 1 (small) is recommended. For those who weigh over 250 lbs and/or have wider than average faces, a size large is recommended.
For proper fit testing without using a faciometer, do a negative pressure test (blocking the inhalation valve and taking a deep breath). If the mask seals tightly to your face without air entering, then you have the right fit.
