AR500 Armor® Tactical Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK)

Description

The AR500 Armor Tactical Individual First Aid Kit is designed solely for treating traumatic bleeding injuries.  The kit includes everything needed to treat life threatening wounds from gunshots, knife and stab wounds, and other serious bleeding injuries.  The IFAK kit is contained within a MOLLE pouch that can be attached to MOLLE compatible body armor carriers, bags, or backpacks.  The IFAK pouch unzips quickly and is packaged with an adjustable retention cord which keeps the pouch from falling all the way open when unzipped.  This allows the user to access the components of the kit while it’s still in a mounted position.  Internal pockets and elastic straps hold each medical item securely in place with room to add additional supplies.

The Tactical IFAK includes a compressed gauze, trauma shears, medical tape, medical gloves, a hemostatic agent stored in the interior pocket, a multi-purpose emergency bandage, chest seals, and a compact SWAT-T tourniquet.  Three rows of Velcro MOLLE webbing line the front of the pack and include a removable Velcro matching color medical patch.  A front pocket with zipper closure provides additional storage space for supplies and tourniquet mounts are located on each side of the Tactical IFAK pouch.  Tourniquets can be mounted via a dedicated MOLLE pouch or via the UV resistant rubber bands which allow for rapid deployment.
