Description
The MIRA Safety CM-6M military gas mask is a full-face respirator providing ultimate Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) threat protection. Meeting EN 136 (Class III) and EN 148-1 standards, this military-grade mask provides excellent protection against all known chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial chemicals in the form of gases, vapors, and aerosols. The CM-6M integrates a full-face panoramic visor which allows for the greatest wide-angle view. For a mask option that is better adapted for use with shoulder mounted firearms with optics that must be held close to the face, consider the CM-7M Military Gas Mask instead. The CM-6M mask is compatible with NATO-standard 40mm filters (not included) that utilize Rd 40 x 1/7″ threads.
The CM-6M CBRN gas mask is produced in one size. To ensure a proper sealed fit, the user’s face must be smooth and free of facial hair. It’s secured by a 5-point rubber textile head harness and is designed for long-term use in any weather condition. The full-face respirator’s inner mask is made from a special hypoallergenic compound that ensures excellent tightness and routes exhaled air to not contact the visor which prevents fogging. This also reduces carbon dioxide(CO2) content in the mask’s inner space, which in turn decreases breathing resistance and respiration physiological burden and stress for the user. The CM-6M may be used in class 1 explosive environments only, but it is also certified under EN 168 for impact resistance so it’s a great choice for riot gear or as a riot control gas mask. An integrated drinking system with a canteen is included.
