Bulletblocker’s signature concealment anti-ballistic vest, the VIP vest incorporates an advanced form fitting design with Dupont’s latest Kevlar weave, the Dupont XP. The Dupont XP is the latest technology improvement to bullet resistant material and allows designers to fabricate vests which are twice as thin as the previous Kevlar weaves. This translates to a far more flexible and breathable vest with all the same level IIIA protection rated to stop up to .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, 9mm, .45 hollow point ammunition, and shotgun blasts. The thinness and flexibility of the VIP Vest makes it the perfect discreet protection with minimum outline printing, while retaining law enforcement and military durability.
Full coverage is provided by panels in the front and back with extended side wings which wrap around the sides of the vest. The panels themselves weigh only about 3 lbs. A cushioned and breathable netted interior backing provides extra blunt trauma protection and circulation, creating a combined total vest weight of only about 4 lbs. The heavy duty black carrier is adjustable on the shoulders and sides and is made of washable nylon/cotton. The vest and components are made in the USA.
