Bulletproof 25 lbs Ballistic Shield 40″ x 20″ with Viewport- NIJ Level III Rifle Threat Protection

American Blast System’s Lightweight Level III Shield measures 40″h  x 20″w and weighs 25 lbs!  It’s made of advanced composite bullet resistant materials that meet NIJ Level III standards, rated to protect against rifle threats up to 7.62 x 51mm, 7.62 x 39mm, 5.56 x 45mm, and lesser threats.  This version of American Blast System’s shield also includes a Level III bulletproof viewport.  Ballistic shields, also known as breacher shields, are most effectively deployed by law enforcement and security teams trained in proactively addressing active attacker threats, but can also be integrated into action plans for schools, businesses, and organizations without advanced training to provide a near full coverage option for those egressing to locations of safety.  The backside of the shield includes a mounted handle for right or left-handed carry.  A protective covering of Cordura or Line-X Polyurethane is available to cover the surface of the shield.
