AR500 Armor® Quick Detachment and Deployable IFAK (QD IFAK)

Description

The AR500 Armor® Quick Detachment and Deployable (QD) IFAK combines the best features found in general purpose, tear-away, and expandable Individual First Aid Kits (IFAK).  The QD IFAK organizes first aid equipment in multiple stages of access with a quick tear-away feature that enhances rapid response time in emergencies.  The 1000D Cordura Nylon IFAK can mount to a bulletproof plate carrier, cummerbund, or any webbed surface.  Full access to the pack can be achieved while the pack is mounted or fully detached.  The exterior of the pack has integrated front and side webbing for easy mounting and immediate access to your Tourniquet along with a Velcro patch panel.  The mounting panel include a Trauma Shear retention strap and mounting guides.

When deployed from the closed position, the pouch folds out into a middle stage allowing rapid access to your most crucial trauma components.  Further expansion releases your tear-away medical platform to full length creating an organized and retained display additional first aid supplies.  Durable elastic is spaced and sized according to a wide array of common medical and trauma supplies for easy customization and layout.  The QD IFAK comes fully stocked with all of the supplies needed to address major bleeding and general trauma resulting from gunshot wounds, knife/stab injuries, and arterial bleeds.  Additional space can be used to organize components into sections such as such burn treatment and airway management.
