Gabriel BBL Ballistic Base Layer Compression Vest- NIJ IIIA Protection

The Gabriel BBL is quite possibly the thinnest, most flexible, and concealable level IIIA protection anti-ballistic vest in existence.  When concealable protection is imperative, nothing beats the Gabriel vest.  Ideal for undercover duty assignments, discrete protection details, and extra precaution for everyday wear, the vest is constructed of the new DuPont XP S300 Kevlar.  The DuPont XP material is woven to allow for using several fewer layers of Kevlar without compromising its protection rating.  NIJ rated at Level IIIA, the vest will stop a 357 Magnum, 44 Magnum, 9mm, .45, hollow point ammunition and more.  Threat level IIIA is the highest level of protection available in soft body armor.  As such, the Gabriel provides an anti-ballistic protective coverage are identical to traditional law enforcement body armor vests and is used by many local and federal law enforcement agencies.  The outer carrier is a nylon/spandex shell similar to a moisture wicking ®Under Armor shirt.  The total vest weighs approximately 3 pounds or between 4.5-5 pounds with the optional side panels.

The vest comes in standard sizes that fit most customers.  If your size it outsize of the average parameters in the sizing chart however, custom sizing and the option of a skin tone colored carrier is available for an additional $100.  Hidden side zippers make it easy to take the BBL on and off and a panel suspension system prevents the panels from sagging and rolling inside the vest.  The carrier is made of anti-microbial fabric that helps wick away moisture, keeping the wearer cool and dry.  The smart-fabric exterior is available in black or white in the standard option or also in skin tone when buying a custom sizing.  The end result is a form fitting, flexible, and lightweight vest that stays nearly completely invisible under any type of clothing.

The Gabriel is also now available with optional side ballistic panels that wrap around the torso for additional side protection as pictured in the photo gallery and demonstrated with the white carrier.  The cost for the upgrade is $120 and can be selected at checkout.  The addition of side panels does somewhat reduce flexibility for the wearer, but does not significantly impact concealability.
