The Guard Dog Security ProShield Scout backpack is one of the most economical and lightweight bulletproof bags on the market. A standard sized book bag, the Scout is the perfect sized bag for young children or even adults utilizing it for everyday carry. The backpack is designed to look just like a regular backpack, but inside is a Level IIIA bulletproof panel providing protection from threats up to .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, 9mm, .45, hollow point ammunition and shotgun blasts. At a total weight of 2.5 lbs, the backpack weighs just ounces more than a non-armored bag.
The interior of the ProShield Scout has a laptop sleeve accommodating 18″ laptops with fully padded sleeves. Organizational pockets include a sturdy zippered outside compartment. The shoulder straps of the backpack are padded for additional comfort. The Scout is currently available in pink, teal, and black colors.
