The NIJ IIIA bullet resistant Canvas Classic Backpack features a traditional pack with a minimalist silhouette and design. The backpack is perfectly sized to be used by larger children, teenagers, and adults. The backpack is fabricated with a 100% Polyester lining and shell with adjustable padded straps, a grab handle, and 2/3 of the back panel is padded. The large main compartment can fit textbooks or a laptop and the front pocket can organize smaller items like cell phones or other electronics. An anti-ballistic panel weighing only 20 oz. is located in the back of the pack, converting the bag into a bulletproof shield. The level IIIA panel is rated to stop bullets up to .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, 9mm, .45 hollow point, and shotgun blasts.
The backpack measures 16.7″h x 13″w x 8.5″d which is a total capacity of 25L and it weighs approximately 1.3 lbs with the anti-ballistic panel installed. The bag is available in three colors: Red, Muted Green, and Black.
