Description
The M2R Warrior flashlight is Olight’s most advanced LED light in their M series line, featuring their proprietary magnetic charging base and dual operating switches (side and tail cap). The M2R is equipped with the latest XHP35 HD LED powered by a single high discharge rate 18650 battery or (2) CR123A batteries with an output range of 1 to 1,500 lumens. As a tactical light, the M2R can be activated by a quiet tail switch with minimal noise. The tail cap also doubles as a charging base. The circular magnetic USB charging base attaches directly to the durable, metal tail tactical switch. For conventional operation, the side button is pronounced with a braille marking for easy touch identification and has a similar activation as the Olight S series flashlights in that the operator can cycle through all 6 levels of brightness and the strobe setting (see attached chart for run times). The tail switch can be programmed to the same conventional setting or be set in a tactical operation mode that allows instant activation with a single click to access the turbo mode of 1,500 lumens or the strobe.
The body of the M2R is strong anodized aluminum, making it a perfect tool that doubles as a striking implement for self-defense. However, the lens head is not deeply serrated or jagged (also known as a “tactical attack” or “DNA collector” heads) so there is less risk of it being seen as a weapon and confiscated at airports, concerts, etc. or in foreign countries while traveling. The light is available in two different LED tints: Cool White or Neutral White. Both produce a standard hotspot diameter with a beam throw distance of 682 feet and 10,880 candela. The M2R is IPX8 waterproof and has a dual direction pocket clip that allows it to be carried with either the tail cap or lens head upward in a pocket or be attached to the bill of a baseball hat for handsfree use. The light incorporates a lanyard and comes with a holster for belt carry. The size, function, and performance of the M2R Warrior make it a perfect EDC tactical flashlight for pocket or bag carry.
For a slightly less expensive option, please see the M2T Warrior. The M2T is the same size as the M2R, but does not utilize the USB magnetic charger (an optional charger can be purchased for the 18650 battery). The M2T also has a slightly lower maximum output of 1,200 lumens.
